stayed at penmere manor for one night and enjoyed the generous size of the superior room. it was on the ground floor, with a lovely patio right outside. parking was super convenient right opposite the room. we appreciated the quiet ambiance and the excellent food, which was really good value. perfect after a day of exploring nearby attractions.

Had a cozy stay for two nights. The room was upgraded and super comfy! Staff were so friendly and went the extra mile for us. The meals in the restaurant were a pleasant surprise, really tasty! Only downside was it felt a bit dated in places. All in all, a solid choice for a family getaway.

I truly appreciated the lovely gardens and spacious lounge areas. they provided a homey feeling. The accessibility was excellent, allowing easy navigation throughout the hotel's premises, which made my stay very enjoyable as a senior traveler.

Our family enjoyed a spectacular stay with stunning views and a spacious room. The fast Wi-Fi was a plus for planning our day. Don’t miss the hoisin duck in the Manor Bar—it’s a must-try! Book ahead for the best rates!

The room was pretty cramped and the decor was definitely showing its age. There were cobwebs in the corners and the furniture felt worn out. I wasn’t thrilled about the musty smell. On the flip side, the storage options were decent, and the bed was comfy enough for a decent night's sleep.

The budget double room felt cramped, limiting movement and accessibility. Despite an uncomfortable space, the staff were genuinely friendly and provided exceptional service during our meals. The buffet breakfast had a great variety, and the seasonal dishes were particularly delightful. Unfortunately, the noise from fire doors slamming in the early morning disrupted sleep, and the heating made the room quite warm – not ideal for summer. Refund issues lingered post-checkout, although the staff remained pleasant throughout.

Arriving at the hotel, the overflowing cigarette bin by the entrance set an unwelcoming tone. The room itself felt somewhat outdated, with stained furniture and an unusual carpet in the bathroom that raised cleanliness concerns. the pool area showed signs of neglect, with a few loose tiles noticed on the way to the water, making me think a bit more attention could enhance the experience. The shower pressure was disappointing and lacked adequate space for toiletries, which was quite frustrating during my stay.

Staff consistently offered helpful assistance. the shower in my room had issues. water pressure was low and inconsistent. Battled some noise from nearby rooms too, which made it hard to relax at times. The pool area seemed limited in changing facilities. felt a bit awkward after swimming. enjoyed my stay, but those areas could improve to enhance the experience.

The dining was a real treat, especially the home-made jams that were like sunshine on toast! Plus, the dinner service was spot on with super friendly waitstaff and delicious evening meals. What's not to love?
